why throw away a cilinderhead with has been almost complete revised a year ago, the only bad thing about it is that is 0,8mm thinner then minimum after flattening.
I think this is no problem when I get a new 200 block with low comp. pistons and a WRC headgasket.
Maybe if I'll bump into a cilinderhead I'll buy it, and maybe not.

Thanks Pim.
I think it'll work, the head is only less then one mm thinner then minimum.
Maybe flowing and porting the head, and replacing the camshaft is an idea.
First priority now is saving lots of money for the 200 block with contents

dont replace the camshafts. it will rip the torque from the engine.

Okay.
So from which specification will the torque of horsepower be improved with for example BD10 or BD14 camshafts?

since you "only" want 400 bhp .. dont spend your money on things you do not need, 400 bhp can be achieved with standard cams, standard engine, accept for a good headgasket, a good exhaust, good chip , map sensor, rs500 intercooler and greys ... thats all you need.. why bother going for different cams ??

p.s. an uprated fuelpump is a must aswell
and you might want to spend your money on better brakes with this increase in BHP...

4 layer headgasket 350 euros (on stock)..
greys 450 euros (on stock)
exhaust... any 3 inch exhaust .. mongoose, magnex whatever..
rs500 intercooler approx 550 euros
map sensor 120 euros

can do the work for you too if needed...

The list would be something like this (not definitive):

- new 200 block
- cosworth pistons (forged?, size +1,2/1,5?)
- new bearings (all of them, including crankshaft bearings)
- crankshaft from the current 205 block, balanced and grinded
- con rods, can I use the current ones or is it smart to buy new ones?
- all "main" bolts ARP
- 3 or 4 layer WRC-headgasket (cometic or mountune?) met std. bolts or arp bolts?
- current cilinderhead welded and flattened, possibly also ported and flowed
- t35 turbo
- rs500 intercooler
- 3bar map sensor, 4x greys
- new chip (stage 3 or 4, how does this work?)
- brakes: HI-spec of AP "330"? or maybe something less expensive, ideas?

Currently I think I have a good basic car which I think is ready for the changes above: 3inch Mongoose stainless, Koni adjustables, 17inch Lenso's (might be usefull when fitting new brakes).

Maybe I also nead a oil breather system. I always that they used oil breathers when the engine spits oil out of the carter ventilation. Will the engine do that also when it's new build?

p.s. NEVER USE a NEW 200 block for big BHP because this is never been hot/cold/hot/cold/expanded/blabla.. so there is way to much stress in the block .. much better to use an old one...

as I said.. i can switch ANY used block for a brandnew 200 block without paying extra, just because the guys i know (rallyracing) want blocks without stress

You're right I was completely out of money that time,
now I have a new 200 block, 4x4 cilinderhead (complete, ready to bolt on) 139mm thick.
End of next month low comp (7.8) JE pistions with valve-pockets.
