My black 3dr
Its been off the road for nearly 3 months now 
Oh well its probably saving me money not driving it anyway. head gasket started to leak again so decided to go for a re build
I was bored this afternoon so pushed it out of the garage to take some pic's

whats the spec on the engine gona be?
I couldn't afford to spend too much on the engine, so i'm using the original 205 block. When i bought the car it had a wire rung block & the headgasket was leaking, so had the head refaced & fully rebuilt at the same time,all standard except the valves sit up in the head a bit more as its had a fair bit of meat off it. That lasted about a year,then it started to leak again, so i took it off the road.
205 block has been machined to 1mm oversize & has been decked to remove wire ring cut outs.
Low comp accralite forged pistons, with thickness of head & block diff,comp ratio is 7.9:1.
HP oil pump
Cometic metal headgaket.
Verniers
T34 .48
RS 500 i/c radtec.
Bailey oil breather
Level 8 ecu
803,s at the moment

I questioned about the pistons being flat top but their the ones Burton's list for the YB turbo, low comp. Anybody know why their flat as opposed to dished ?
