9 sec Street Driven Escort Cosworth Video...
This is the video of the final!
Unortunately the Escort popped the intake pipe at around 300m and it lost the race from an Tommy Makinen EVO VI which on this particular pass it did a 10 second flat at 143mph!!!
As you can see from the video the Escort was 2-3 cars in front of the EVO so imagine the time!!!
This particular Escort ran a 9.9 @ 143mph on the semi-finals....

that is mad, it about time the UK scene use better chassis technology as we can build a decent engine, we just need RS cars with breathed on chassis's
