My White XR2
This is my xr2 i bought in october 2003, bought on 97,000 miles, its a rare 1985 model WITHOUT a sunroof.
Heres a few pics shortly after i bought it, with a few mods, spax fixed rate suspension kit 30mm drop, front and rear omp strut braces
A Few pics with mille miglia evo's on which r 7J! these were only on for a litte while as slowed the car down.
A few pics at fitp 2004 with smooth boot lid
And finally the latest set of pics taken 4 months ago looking alot different!
last pic just about make out the flame out of the exhaust, looks much better at night

personally i think it looks the bollox i think the mods that have been done are very subtle and suit the car down to the ground, yes it looked good standard but things can always be amproved and i think it is a job well done, and as for the halfords catalogue i dont see stick on mods everywhere and neons lights i think it looks very tastefull, love the plate also!!

nice clean one you got but i'd be loosing the tailgate asap and the wheels which although look nice, really arent for a mk2
as for the car though in general then very nice

Me too
I thought it was spot on when it was standard, was quite surprised to see the 5 spoke wheels, then the chrome ones
Not really a fan of the clear's either, although I think they may look better if the original wheels were back on, or older style ford wheels.
All these things can be reversed though, but not the smoothed boot
You said it was a rare model, and is very clean, I'd have left it looking how it did, but that's what modding is all about mate, and you obviously like it, so good on you for being different
Nice job on the engine bay as well
