Default opinions on black rims on crystal blue saph

Had these wheels on my focus so thought i'd bolt them onto the saph and see how it looked. They are 17 inch OZ Superturismo's repainted gloss black with the graphics redone in a slight hologram effect (looks good in the flesh!). All comments appreciated!

Not sure mate - seems to dull The Blue, even in the half-light. May look completely different up close or in daylight

I think Crystal Blue needs brilliant silver to bring out the metallic shine

Nice to see one with original lights in too

rims off, didn't think it would be such a hard colour to pick wheels for, i fancy white but think it might clash too much, i think std could be the way forward!

Completely agree mate - it is a difficult colour to choose wheels for. The only ones I've ever thought of parting with my hard-earned for is a set of diamond cut RS 7s I like MOs, but they don't suit Crystal Blue in any colour, imo.

dont listen to them mate i think it looks awesome

the stickers look white in the pics and seem a bit crap but it probably looks a million times better up close, as the pics seem a bit dull

get some pics of it out in the sun, it looks like such a nice car, still has the original ambers - exhaust - and old style number plates - that is fuckin cool!!!

stunning example

dan, the lights seem to make a massive difference in blending in the car, i thought that with smoked or clears all round the black wheels would look a lot better on my car but i really wanna keep the original ambers in, i've been offered soft start rs7 spokes, just need to sell the black rims to pay for em now!

as soon as i pick my new crystal blue cossie up next week i have a set of dark rims going straight on it

my old one had rs7 spokes which looked the nuts as the car above does but dark wheels give the crystal blue cars a really good hard look to them.

They look like TSW Evo-R to me, don't see them around too much these days!

I quite like black wheels on blue Saphs, but they look wrong, is it cos of the offest cos they from a Focus? Or is that just a trick of the eye?
