what do you guys think was the best ford built? I'm going to go for the 3 door cosworth due to its heratige, cult folowing and the fact its the daddy!!!! this does include the mighty king the RS500 too

your right there i think, i like the 3 door cause of whyit was developed and the RS500 cause it cleaned up in the touring cars for the few years they were used. Back in the days of proper racing but it was all started by the the mk1 escort twink, RS1300 and RS1600, so the mk1 is certainly a good car but the cars got better as technology advanced, the peak was the 80's before the emission control and rules and regulations came in. Motorsport hasnt been the sam since the eighties

there are a couple of ways off looking at this, this is my list: RS200, (its just awesome) ESCORT RS COSWORTH, ( i have one, it just has this look about it ) RS 500, (next cab off the rank) RS1700T, (is just so rare) MK1 ESCORT RS1600,(just sounds so good twin 40,s in a forest) MK1 LOTUS CORTINA, (old school sleeper) MK2 ESCORT RS 1800,(has to be standard) ALL I NEED NOW IS A LOTTERY WIN,
