it's not purple, it's silver and about twice the size.

Sorry, no pictures either.

Series 1 fuel pump relay is SILVER

Series 2 is purple.

100% sure of this.

hmm..never seen my S1 item to be honest: but knew the S2 was definately purple as I had one burn out on me & had to be replaced.
They're about 1" - 1 1/2" high..as Daz said: bigger than the normal ones in the fuse box.

Unsure on the colour now

s1 is silver and has an extre pin on its own, s2 is purple
