Hoping to do a couple of Track days in her then after winter fit some Bike Throttle Bodies & a Remap and aim for 160BHP outta the 1.6 8v

Shell/Body:1989 F plate shell. Standard bodywork with euro back lights and mud flaps. Stitch welded front end. Bonnet release cable repositioned inside inner wing. Bulkhead/battery panel removed for larger engine bay. Ford wiper motor bracket. All fixings smoothed/removed in engine bay. Front hubs, driveshafts, TCAs, Tie bars, rear beam all powder coated white. All other smaller parts replaced/re-conditioned/painted.
Engine: Fully rebuilt original engine 1600 8v, Block cleaned and painted black. Crank sized and polished journals. Rods fitted with ARP bolts. New main and big end bearings. New oil and water pumps. Lightened and balanced flywheel. Head gas flowed with 3 angle valve seats. New hydraulic lifters and piper competition valve springs. Oil pressure adjusted with small spacer. Piper 300 degree rally cam and vernier pully. Standard inlet manifold and throttle body as Group A build spec. Four branch manifold. 20 XE injectors. 16XE coil pack. FSE regulator. MBE 967 programmable ECU and SBD loom with all new sensors fitted. 20XE oil cooler. Alloy oil catch tank. Bailey header tank. Janspeed full exhaust system. 147 bhp at 7250rpm and 114lb/ft at 4700rpm
Gearbox: Standard close ratio F13 gearbox and 4.18 final drive fitted and ATB LSD. Rose jointed short shift gear linkage.
Suspension: Front Koni adjustables and 60mm springs. Lowered rose jointed and adjustable tie bar mounts. Top mounts adjusted by 8mm. Front anti roll bar removed. Rear Billstein tarmac rally dampers and 80mm and 60mm (track use) springs. Rear anti roll bar. Polybushes all around and spring seats.
Brakes: Front 256mm ATE callipers fully re-conditioned. Red dot 20 groove disks. Ferrodo DS2500 race pads. Braided hoses. Rear Standard drums.
Wheels:ASA motorsport with 195/45 R15 Yokohama A539 tyres.
Interior: Standard Nova GTE 1989 spec.

Fookin love novas had an L plate gsi, and sri back in the day, cool cars, dont give a fying fuck what anyone says, need some 16'' speedlines though

lol shame my turbo wernt still on the road because before the lad binned it its was for sale for only Ł2000. complete dick for writing it off

Went and seen this wee motor and drove it when it was up for sale, proper mint for a nova(seats are spot on) just too lumpy for me, suppose be good for track days
, just couldnt bring myself to have it over an rs!!
Like i said though been done rite and a lotof money and time spent on it, good luck with it mate

lol nice car mate!!
LOL this is interesting, this used to be my old car untill Matt bought it afew weeks ago. I have to say i do miss it but then again i hardly drove it. Im sure you will have alot of fun in the car Matt, i defonatly did.
Got myself a dam nice Flint Grey Sierra Cosworth now so im very pleased. It will be a totaly different car to drive than the wee nova but good fun all the same.

It's funny because in UK they call it GTE like the old Mantas, which means Gran Tourismo Einspritzer (german for Injection) and in Germany they use the english word "injection"
