My S2 RST- updated 15/10/06
ive only had the car a fortnight, and tbh i think its a pretty good base car to start with, i dont really want to change too much, not exterior wise, im more interested in engine mods.... as you can see ive replaced the chrome strips with black ones, and changed the side repeaters, painted the standard wheels anthracite, and added some bonnet lifters ( though tbh im not sure if i like them yet ),got a strut brace which i aint got round to fitting yet, bought a chrome charge carrier ( lots more chrome bits for engine bay to come hopefully) and just ordered a t285 cam for it too...... suspension is next to be upgraded as its bottoming out like feck and it bounces like its got a 20 tonne fatty in it 
heres as it was when i got it 2wks ago....
and now after ive just polished it
though ive not done windows as ran outta polish 
opinions welcome.... i think i want to leave it pretty much as it is exterior wise apart from a decent suspension setup and an outward rolled exhaust, but might still remove the bonnet lifters as unsure as to whether i think theyre a bit max power.... that and the fact ppl keep beeping to tell me my bonnets open

im very pleased with progress from owning it 2 weeks, think ill leave outside alone while i get a few niggling problems fixed and sort suspension out,
just goes to show girls have taste outside of playboy stickers and pink resprays

the engine is on the kitchen floor
though its now got a nice shiny anthracite rocker cover and ive painted the manifold and a few other bits silver so it looks better

the head was taken off 2weeks ago with suspected headgasket failure, which didnt disappoint, replaced the tappets and also a new cam, so decided to clean the engine bay up a little bit, painted the head, inlet manifold and throttle and thermostat housing, painted the rocker cover anthracite to match the wheels.....

also replaced the rear lights from red/black to totally smoked, think it blends in better with the contrast of the wheels...
not got any before pics cos dont like the back of it as it is lol
fancy a 3" outward rolled system, not really into the 4" ones they look too big on the car imo, and then the outside is pretty much as i want it... though minus the dints!!

dont really like the rear lights or the badges but each to their own. i will have a S2 again one day. (ive gotta win the lottery cause my list is huuuggee!!!)

i think most people dont like the rear lights as they stand out, though i honestly dont like the back end of the car full stop so i guess i kinda like it a bit more now, it blends the wheels in with everything else, i dont like the badges either so will be replacing them at some point but im not entirely sure what with, probably standard stickers, and should tidy it up with a nicer exhaust as that one aint exactly easy on the eye
