well pistons arrived today,look great ,so i put them on the rods and put the rings on,there 1mm over size with a 7.8-1 compression ratio,what you think?

Briancheers mate,well going to start stripping the engine today and fit the rods and pistons ready for tomorrow,cos my mate is bring his inline borer down,need another 40 thou taken out the bore

thanks for the replys lads,well i stripped the engine today so its all ready,just waiting for my mate to come down now,it will be back on the road on sunday,ill post more pics up tomorrow

little update,,,,, Had to take the block out in the end as the inline borer wouldnt fit in there,suppose it better that way.Here s a few pic of the block built up hope you all like

Fair play bud, you've gotten a bit power hungry its gunna be a real monster!

stuart collins hi stu the piston i got were 7.8-1 comp but i got the head skimmed and the block done aswell and worked it out so the comp now is 8.5-1 i took the advice of jamie,just running in now mate then ill be on the phone to get the finall map,carnt wait cheers

well still on a runin map only another 400 miles to go,so i thought id buy these of martin at mef motor sport they are s1 tention stut kit,very good qaulity,big up martin
