My car MK4 ESCORT4X4
This is my car i bought it about 8 months ago as u see it in the pic.I have been told it started life as an xr3i and was converted by gartrac to run 4x4 cosworth setup at aprox 305bhp.The illusion bodykit was fitted buy the owner in his own bodyshop and i must say very well it is a great looking car but is in no way complete and i have a lot of plans for the future including striping the leather interiour adding a roll cage 18" wheels and much more.I have allready added a bigger intercooler and alloy radtec rad.I am currently working on the fuel system as the alloy fuel tank fitted (under the rear floor where spare wheel well used to be) has no swirl pot or sump so is suffering with fuel starvasion on hard exceleration and cornering.I am adding a lift pump from the tank to a swirl pot mounted in the boot then to an 044 pump via fuel filters and am hoping this will sort the problem (any advise on the electrics would be much appretiated).

clearly a lot of hard work gone into that mate but im sorry to say i have to agree with my man above, a sleeper or simple rs kit would have been far better!
it looks like a 17 year olds college project!

I didnt do the bodywork i bought the car as u see it.To tell u the truthe i love the mk3/4 escorts and allways liked the ilusion kit but allways thought whats the point on an rst.I sold my sapph cossie to buy an rst van and ended up with 3 vans they all went to make way for an st24 due to the patter of tiny feet then a year later again so i swaped that for toyota 4x4 as needed something bigger for the 2 kids and 2 dogs the plan was to stick to motox and leave the cars then this came up at a good price and i couldnt resist it.There is lots more planed this isnt guna be all show thats for sure
