well as per jeremy Clarkson and the programme on Sky Vroom Vroom, the VXR has been competeitve all the way thro with the Focus, but as my man JC said the VXR is unbelievable and handles so much better than the RS, to which having now driven and already owned one of em i do agree!
Im happy with my choice and Jeremy Clarkson says different to what all you lot are saying now so

I've driven a VXR [in anger too ] and I was very impressed, the new Astras are IMO on par if not slightly edging ahead of the Focus now
Just a shame they can't stop them depreciating like lead balloons [but then neither can Ford or anyone else for that matter].
He's a tit anyway

ok too many answers to reply to thro a quote so....
No i dont look like Chantelle off Big brother, im better looking LMFAO
Im well excited for the car think it is a wise choice, altho i do know im a traitor lol but ill always respect fords for the time they have been with me.. I have already owned a RS hence why in my opinion the VXR is better at just about everything to be hoonest, handling, comfort altho dont know about mileage yet
I feel the urge to play with the vauxhall, not just any old vauxhall... a VXR
Also the corsa bit someone mentioned why have 200BHP when i can have 240BHP standard altho that will soon be more
A bit of a vaired view to which i did expect, but I do mean if you have never driven one before go test drive one, it is impressive and the handling is from a different planet lol, then if you dont like it fair play, but i gotta say i have been transformed...

Gotta agree VXR altho alittle dearer is a better all round package.
Only thing that would worry me is resale value, as id imagine they would not hold their value as good as the rs
Still tho a fantastic car
Good luck with it , looks stunning in blue..Im jelous

Very nice, i had a play in one late last year and loved it, just like being in the cockpit with the low black lined roof .
Got the new shape astra myself in the lowly sri turbo spec, but still its a decent car.
Pic for the vx haters on pf...
