Quality mate - you must be really pleased with it!

Have you got any pictures of the car and the setup at all? Would love to see what it looks like inside

How long has the project taken you so far?

proper mental!

i cant help but wonder how much time youre loosing with that gearchange though, i recon theres gotta be the best part of 1/2 a second wasted in the time its taking you to change gear!

top top car though, cool as fuck!

yep, couldn't agree more, unfortunately the gear linkage on the car is a little sketchy to say the least, a mix of rs turbo box and focus cables and shifter, hopefully improve on this in the future

Awesome mate!

My question would be, since you have removed the weight from the front, what are you using to give you grip on the front end, or is this just specifically for doing the 1/4?

As my only worry would be that of you only have the tank above the front wheels, when you get low on fuel you begin to lose grip.

Just really interested to see how you've got around this, as me and my brother have been speaking about putting a bike engine into the back of a Fez, and I can't think of a good way to keep some weight over the front.

although built mainly for extra traction on the dragstrip the car actually handles really well, the engine is more mid than rear and i havn't missed many meals at nearly 14 stone that holds the front down, i have fuel tank, nitrous bottle and battery up front too and the car is still all steel, trust me, its ok
