loved this car from when i seen it in a magasine when the engine was up front,that must put a smile on your face driving it as i am blown away by how quick that mk1 is it's a flying machine

thanks again guys for all the kind comments, i wish i had pots of money cos it would have an all steel zetec with a gt30 turbo and lots more goodies, sadly i am skint so that wont happen, still, it aint doing too bad for an 8 valve CVH though!, i think i can better my 11.5 sec run too in the future

jesus, no idea, its hours and hours of work, no idea how to put a price on it, i think if you paid someone to do it you would be looking at £10,000 plus in labour alone

Best conversion I had on my S2 was the old Power Engineering 'Power 3' conversion. Hardly any lag and the stage 3 head and cam made it rev so much harder. With Mervyn's 'green for go' button set to low boost you could really feel it get on the cam at about 4200rpm - good times
