Well its now fully road legal and just about run in, just needs a oil change 
Slight issue with the new tie bar setup which is being rectified as we speak.
Its booked onto the rollers for next tuesday

The tie bar setup is now sorted although I have no pics as yet of the new items 
They have been done properly this time though and the car drives as straight as you would expect.
I took the car over to one of our local website meets last night which was going well until the oil pump crank seal popped out which in turn covered the underside of the car and drivers wheel in oil so I had to get it towed home.
I can honestly say I'm quite glad that didn't happen on track though or it might of been bad news.
Anyway heres a few pics, the car hasn't been cleaned in a year so it doesn't look mint !

Well its finally been mapped !
The cam timing isn't set to what it needs to be for maximum power so it will go back but for now the engine was producing a rather healthy....
222.4hp @ 8640

Well 2 gearboxes later and were just about to head off to Germany !
7 hrs late already
New box is already noisy so if anyone knows of any good vauxhall breakers near the ring I could do with a phone number !
Got graphs at home so I'll post them up when were back.

Broke down just outside Gent at about 3 this morning.
I think its broken a spring cap but I cant be sure or be arsed to look into for now so it will be taken home and we'll do the ring in a Hire Car.
Typically it was the first time the actual owner got to drive it and this happens
Fingers crossed its nothing too serious

Besides the current problems I thought I may as well upload this video as it will have slightly more power next time you see it
This is the final power run of 222.4 hp @ 8640rpm, the limiter was set to 8800rpm and the run was done in 5th gear

With the right bits they do handle well.
Ofcourse even with my selection of springs ready for the ring trip I didn't expect the engine to fail on the way so I can't comment on what this one handles like on track.
Judging on how I know a few other peoples proper xe's novas go round tracks I would expect this will impress a few people too.

Best example I can give you is this car.

Thats a 20xe engine, less power than my mates I've done but he has spent a long long time on track so the car is set up really well.
Some of his other clips show him up against some proper cars and you will see how much he reels them in on the straights and bends

My white one was ok mate, quite basic setup and I could easily improve on it now with what I've learnt since having that one.
It was fast, very reliable, handled ok and went like utter stink when I had the nitrous on it lol

Update again
I dropped the car off to the engine builders and he found that a shim had come out which at first was thought to be the noise, sadly on starting it there was still a noise so he asked me to remove the engine and he will dismantle it.
After getting the engine out today I had quick look through the inlets and noticed a valve guide has broke off and is sliding on the valve
I would imagine thats the problem and obviously that would of caused the shim to come off so its looking not to be too serious.
Heres a pic of the guide, and another of whats left in the bay now
