The car is finally back on its wheels, all the brakes are bled up and there is just a list of minor things to be completed.
Typically those minor things take a lot longer than I first thought so the car hasn't been moved over to the engine builder for checkover and run up just yet.
I do hope to get it over there this week as I'm off to Italy next week and need to start running it in from the minute I arrive back in the uk.
Thanks to all those that have helped over the last week or so.
A few pics:
Exhaust modified and fitted:
Exhaust is hardly noticable from the rear, just need to do some polishing and re fit the 1.2i badge and thats the rear taken care of.
naff picture of it in its current state

Well its back and running
Still waiting for a few bits to be returned then it should hopefully be ready for a MOT.
Found a small leak from the gearbox and the gear linkage is shockingly bad considering its a works linkage, they obviously dont like working a big block gearbox
Heres a small vid of it running:

Well within 2 months as were going to the ring in it
In all seriousness I should hope by the end of the month as it needs running in, mapping and a bit of a shakedown before its trip to germany.
Everything is looking good though, just hope the running in and mapping goes well

The Nova GTE is a C20let
I've had a Courtney 1.6 converted Nova GSi though and it was a proper little beast absolutely mint with some ultra cool parts fitted also
I've lost count how many nova's i had now and in every shape and form as i get older i thought i'd grow outta them especially having owned so much other cosworth powered stuff, but i seem strangely drawn back to them as they are the only car i feel totally at home in.
But my biggest downfall is i get bored easy so i never seem to keep any cars for very long lol!

Well small update.
Most deadlines have gone out of the window due the owner having a few important matters to attend to but it has to be ready for september when we go to the ring.
Since I lasted posted the oil cooler has started leaking meant having it welded up twice, then the water pump started weeping a little so it was nigh on engine out to sort that fooker out
The dash is back and now fitted, just got the speed sender to fit then that will all work correctly.
Started making a seperate loom for the fuel pumps and level sender but I'm still waiting for the right sleeving to turn up as Royal mail once again are taking the piss .
Once the wiring is done nicely the seats can go in and hopefully it will be ready for a MOT, i've not got a great deal of time this week to do much but I hope to have it ready for its MOT before I go to Wales on holiday next week.
Few update pics
Might be more updates later this week if I'm lucky

Well after I think 2 and a bit years I can actually say its moved a wheel without being pushed or trailered
Took it for its first drive tonight, it wasn't the nicest of feelings as the geometry couldn't be any further out but it ran fine, all engine monitoring is perfect (ish) except when you turn it off the alternator appears to hold the ecu ign live on ? I'll look into that tomorrow.
The brakes are not great, pain in the arse as I took someones advise on a different master cylinder for it and I dont actually think it has made the pedal travel any better at all, if anything it seems worse
Noise wise though I wished I had ear plugs in even after a 3 mile stint down the back roads
MOT wednesday then we should be good to go, it will be run in over the weekend and hopefully fully mapped the following week.
Off to the ring in a few weeks so that should be make a interesting shakedown
