Here is a couple of pics of my MK5 2dr Cortina

Was first built with the 24v engine in 1998 and then changed to the Cossie Turbo in August 2000 after i had redesigned my 4dr MK5 Cortina

Was fitted with a custom Stainless Exhaust and LSD and discs at the back also a stage 1 chip and a RS500 Intercooler.

Died in 2003 of rust

Some pics from another thread:

And the old 1.3 pics that have been doing the rounds for months and finally resurfaced a few weeks back: just incase someone has been living in a glass cage for the last year.

Here is a couple of pics of my currant cars

Both engines live on from the Cortinas in these 2 XR4is. The White one is fitted with the 24v engine and the Grey one has the Cossie Turbo which now has a ported head, greens, T34 etc.

The 2dr was featured in Classic Ford and Performance Ford when fitted with the 24v.

Also i done a test day at Brunters with Performance Ford when it was fitted with the Cossie Turbo

0-60mph = 5.64 secs

0-100mph = 13.12 sec

146.7mph Top Speed

All on standard injectors and T3 with a stage 1 chip

Will find some more pics.

Not this van but another one John built a LWB version, was in the 24v thrash that was in the May 2003 issue of Fast Ford. Also my White XR4i was at the thrash

Transit = 16.49 1/4 (no LSD) and done 110mph

XR4i = 14.71 1/4 (LSD from a XR4x4) and done 140mph.

I think a cossie powered granada hearse would be a cool sleeper.

You'd have to have an empty coffin in the back and drive wearing a black cap.

Imagine the looks as you go burning away from the lights!

I need a different offset because i have wheel wobble @40 to50 mph

found this out after changing complete front end

After putting my saff wheels on it the problem was fixed, saff wheels were et 40 and cortina was on et 35 its only 10mm extra track but it sorted the problem

Thinking of black spokes polished rims?
