My Mexico MK2 Escort
Hey People,
I've bought a "new" car this week.
I've sold my MK2 Escort 1.3 (RS-look).
Now i've got a MK2 Mexico with a tuned 2.0 pinto from a Ford Sierra, and a 5-speed gearbox. It delivers about 135Bhp. The car is completely rebuild in 2000. So, no rust...
Some spec's:
- Complete RS2000 MK2 interiour (seats, steeringwheels, dash, doorpanels etc)
- RS2000 MK2 windows (green tinted)
- RS2000 MK2 rear spoiler
- Mexico Striping
- Mexico bumpers
- Mexico grill
- Mexico headlights
- White indicators (at the front)
- Red/White rear lights
Engine spec's
- Completely rebuild 200 -sierra engine
- Full-race cilinderhead (blue printed, bigger Valves)
- Kent Cams FR32
- The rest of the engine parts are all original RS2000 MK2 (also Alu Crankcase, radiator etc)
- Special Carb. (with bigger nozzle's)
- Ashley Group-A exhaust (complete)
- Light Flywheel
- Elektronic ignition
- 5 speed gearbox with Alu bell-house (from RS2000 MK2)
- Clutch from RS2000 Mk2
- Diff from RS2000 MK2
- Brakes from RS2000 MK2
- Ajustable (also height) Koni Shock's front and rear
- All powerflex bushes
- Lowerd
- 13" 6J RS2000 MK2 wheels
I've got some 7J RS2000 MK2 wheels for the summer, and i've orderd an RS1800/Mexico front spoiler

A good original MK2 RS2000 will cost about 4500 euro's (a minter +- 6500 a rusty +- 3000)
But it's a car for enthusiast's, I know people that bought a MK2 RS2000 for 10.000 euro's
What about the prices in the UK????
