Apart from the forum Admin, who obviously want to sell advertising space on the forum, did I upset anybody by asking for a car for a TV shoot? Anybody offended by seeing my Mk1 and Mk2 transits? Was it so terrible for members to have the opportunity to get a free period tax disc if they wanted one?

Certainly did not offend me! It is very strict here and not consistent either.

The tax disc and offer of a car to be on TV was a very nice thing I thought. Can't please everyone unfortunately.

It never fails to surprise me that a new member will unwittingly break a rule and then, rather than just accept it as being a newbie, wants to change the whole forum because they've fallen foul of some complexed/obscure rule

and then there's a big hoohaa about it in the shape of a 3 year old princess tantrum

no one has singled you out for persecution, but if you feel that strongly about it then your words will fall on deaf ears

or you can find a way to get on with it and enjoy the happyness that is pf for at least a small % of the day

I still love you fred, the transits were a real nice touch of old skool class imo.
Too few people making to many rules around here with no common sense, or rather not allowed to use any common sense, a lot of the traders even on pf are imo cowboys anyway.

fred Transit joined. Gave a Cosworth owner chance to have there car in a TV series, link to a site for the car/TV thing. Link to down load FREE tax discs of old periods like the 80's etc for there car when on show that they could print off. Showed pics of classic Transits. Had link to another owners group on sig. Admins removed the threads for advertising.

 

shame if you leave mate some real nice transits there

all trade orientated users are contacted in the same manner..

 

And what you also failed to mention is that when you advertised on here for a white Cosworth is that you would also be getting paid to supply the car to your client which is classed as TRADING on this site.

How many times do you need this explaining to you before you stop playing the sympathy card?



As for the free tax disks... im sure if our members really want or need them then a quick google search will find them.
