It never fails to surprise me that a new member will unwittingly break a rule and then, rather than just accept it as being a newbie, wants to change the whole forum because they've fallen foul of some complexed/obscure rule

and then there's a big hoohaa about it in the shape of a 3 year old princess tantrum

no one has singled you out for persecution, but if you feel that strongly about it then your words will fall on deaf ears
