Warning!! Never do buisness with Billybigspuds!!
You’ve been warned!! Never do business with Billybigspuds you might be ripped off!!
I contacted him after I came across this thread: https://passionford.com/forum/genera...ml#post5109884
We agreed to do business. I’d transfer money and he’ll send med the plenum.
This was back in May/June. I transferred the cash and he confirmed he'd received them. However, he never sent me the plenum..
I had contact with him on both PM and e-mail, but he stopped answering me a few weeks after the money had arrived. When I started asking for track&trace number for the shipment..
Today I even tried to call him. As soon as I told my name, he made some strange noises and hang up. Tried several times but he only answered the first time...
Some of you might say, what a naive idiot, transferring money to a stranger. And yes I might be, but I’ve done business with a lot of guys from UK, both on eBay and forums, and all of them (except billybigspuds) have been really helpful, serious and reliably.
I’m not sure what the forum rules allows me to do, but I’ve got his full name, address and banking detail, and I’m tempted to post his full name and address just to prevent anybody else of being ripped off!!
Alternatively, send his banking details to a nice Nigerian banker who often sends me emails with “great” offers...
PS! If Billybigspuds, or Lee, would like to contact me, private or in this tread, give me a credible explanation or show interest in straighten out this issue; I’d gladly erase this thread as soon as this issue is solved..
Regards
Knut, Norway

10K+ Poster!!
I can't see why people feel the need to rip people off, that said its too easy to do if you wanted to but it does have a effect on the innocent honest people who sell a few bits from time to time.
We sell all sorts and I deal with a few foreign customers who happily send money over without seeing the parts for months as they go in a container, the thing is if it was me I'd be seriously pissed off but what goes around comes around so I'd imagine he will get fucked over just like this user has at some point if he treats people like that.

If you get nothing out of this you have some ways of making things difficult for him.
No one can do anything with his bank account details but you can sign him up to most charitys to make payments by direct debits.
They will only ask for address and sort code and account number, something like this.
https://www.committedgiving.uk.net/a...nor.aspx?id=dd
Just sign him up to loads of them will be proper agro for him getting them cancelled especially when you dont know where they are coming from.
You may not get your money back but atleast a charity will get some!!

As far as i can see the original thread was in General Discussion and wasnt a for sale thread... this user certainly isnt a Gold Member.
I therefore can only assume you sent him a PM about buying this item and therefore at your own risk as you shouldnt have done that in the first place.

sorry to hear you have a problem, the mod team will do out very best to sort this out,the member billybigspuds was last active on this site was today at 1.57pm so i presume he has seen your post.
he will be contacted by myself for an explaination,if he ignores my requests he will be banned i know it wont get your money back but at least he cant ripp anyone else off

I knew the potential risk of losing my money the minute I transferred them so I’m not expecting to get them back.<O</O
<O</O
My goal with this thread will be one or more of these:<O</O
1. To pressure Billybigspuds to either send me the item if he still got it<O</O
2. Get him to explain himself <O</O
3. Prevent anyone else to be ripped off by him. <O</O
<O</O
I’ve sent him several e-mails and PM’s without getting an answer. Was not sure why he stopped answering, he might have been hospitalised or something like that. I monitored his actions on PassionFord for a while and he’s visiting this site on a regular basis, so he’s just ignored my PM’s..
<O</OMy best bet will be alternative no 3.<O</O

Well as you both did the deal outside of the "buying and selling rules" of Passionford then its down to you to sort out between yourselves...
This whole situation is a superb example of why we do NOT allow whats it worth type posts for non gold members and in General Discussion.
Had you bought the item in the correct manner ie from a for sale thread from a Gold Member then I would do everything i could to help you recoup your fees as I have done, and have been successful in doing so, before. However I will not be getting involved any further with this issue becuase of the way the deal was conducted.
I am however going to be looking at banning the user Billybigspuds as he has had previous infractions for non goldmember advertising and this is the final straw now.
On that note i will close this thread.
