now marky d or whatever his name is has closed my thread and gave me an infraction for a post i put up regarding selling stuff

am i allowed to sell my own items if i was to buy them off my mate if he doesnt have internet access and doesnt have a ford

so technically there my items to sell and i will have proff that there mine

i also think mark should be removed of his powers as a mod as he is abusing them by giving me an infraction for a post i asked questions for other mods, admins and members to give there views on aswell and it was a question about this subject, but then i get the infraction of this post for selling items on behalf of non paying members when it was questions to admin, so i either want this infraction removed, his powers removed or my gold membership refunded

so who do i need to contact to have my gold membership refunded as i believe im paying for a service im not allowed to use as soon as i get my refund iw ill leave this site as its just gone down hill

 

If you are going to start a thread like this why not actually state the facts?

You got an infraction for advertising for a non member which is against the rules, i wasnt going to give you an infraction but decided to after all the snidey PMs i got from you.

I locked your thread in the policies room as it was titled by yourself as a question for ADMIN i therefore locked it to save having loads of pointless replies on there. Admin have been made aware that the post is there and will respond in due course!!

I dont think I am going to have my mod status removed for enforcing the rules.


you agreed to the rules on selling when you signed up on Passionford so I dont really see what your problem is.

 

The problem seems to lay with the powers that be not beleiving that the items are going to be yours from now on m8 as i see it, right or wrong that was the jist of what i read.

as I have tried to explain to this member the amount of times we have heard the old " i will buy it off my mate and sell it on here then" routine and you know that in 99% of cases that will never happen.

hence why im not letting this advert be reinstated... nothing personal towards this member.

Almost as stupid as telling me to "be a good little mod" and get admin to look at the post!!

The infraction yet again was for advertising for a non member NOT for the snidey PM's!! although admittedly they were the final straw.

 

ididnt call him a good little mod lol, i put be a good mod in a sentence to ask or show admins to the threads or subject as i dont know any admin people bar stu and its pointless contacting stu over something so stupid considering how busy he is

well i still want this sorting and the infraction removed as i honestly didnt know icarnt advertised for for friends who have never even used passionford or even heard of it, and if i have to buy the stuff to help my mate out i will and ill sell them on as ill always help others out

The infraction was for ADVERTISING for a non member.

 

as steve has pointed out i understand that it was removed for advertising for my mate, but if i was to buy them and fit them on my car am i allowed to sell them then as they are then my wheels to sell

i was told im not allowed

come on mate lets be honest here instead of trying to get around things,you and everyone else knows there you mates and you were trying to sell them for him,you got caught out,as you couldnt ne bothered to read the rules which are on every page of this site,so there is no excuse
you then get into an argument with the mod who only doing what hes suspose to,itsd nothing personal

not really mate as ive never ever seen a post to say these rules apply as they never used too and it was ok to advertise parts for friends who dont use passionford so i can honestly say i never knew these rules were applied, now if you can find me a post to say when these rules were applied id be gratful

and the fact is i can buy these wheels so they are mine and then i will have the rite to sell them

either way i couldnt give a flying fuck about this site anymore as its just getting pathetic with all these stupids rules, luckilywhen my gold membership runs out i wont be contributing to it anymore as its not the same pf as it was a good few years ago

Selling items "On behalf of" anybody whom is not a PassionFord member is not allowed. If a person wishes to use PassionFord to sell an item, it will take him just 2 minutes to register their own account. This stops a multitude of problems when the item is not as described and the topic poster is held accountable
I understand you are trying to help a mate out,but rules are rules and if one gets away with it everyone expects the same,but by you trying to bend the rules saying you have brought them is taking the piss a little dont you think and not really being honest.

I posted the PM's up in the mods room as I feel it only fair to keep the other mods informed of proceedings when there is a difference of opinion with a member as i feel it best on both sides to get their opinions.

We are unable to refund your gold membership, plus you have sold a fair few bits on here in the last few months anyway.

Let me know if you still wish to leave the site and i shall speak to admin and get your account deleted for you.

works out cheaper on ebay to advertise and sell on there compared to here if nothing sells

the gold membership of only £10 isnt refundable as the rules are plain and clear to see and understand,plus the fee isnt just for cheap adverts it also enables you to use rooms which members only can access,to be able to sell your own items is just a small part
