Default Passionford admin!

i would like to ask a question, i find it rather annying sometimes when you open a topic in the photos or a project full of photos they are massive, they mess the page up and you have to scroll every 5 min to read whats on there, i know alot about codes ect and that im sure there would be a way to have it so they auto resize the images when posted. this code you can get for IPB and PHPbb aswell. is this a good idea or not?

Just sometimes people dont know how to resize them, and most dont bother.

I'' think this is a rather good idea, not sure about you lot.

I thought photobucket automatically resized them???

Its always fine for me. Of course there are the odd giant pics now and again but nine times out of ten they are fine. I hate with a passion looking on other forums and they have an auto resizer that makes them too small to see properly and you have to "click to see full size" on every pic to have a good look.

My 2p worth.

Done. Images will now no longer exceed 1024 but if you want smaller you may set it in your own control panel.

thats a good point, but for them to be 2000odd pixles or 1500 they are massive and you just get a massive photo infront of you. 1200 is just about right.

also photobucket you have to take the option of that, you have to click resize before, alot of people dont resize the images them self or via photobucket.

there not small images, there not thumbles just a smaller resize to fit the page and you can see them..

thanks stu, ive gone with 800 tho as i find that better. my personal pref.
