Fucking sad day for the site IMHO if the advertising rules have got to the stage where tuners arent allowed to talk techy about what they've done anymore

J1mbo posts "we do this" and "we've done that" ALL the fucking time, so unless his dad coughs up, Id imagine about half his posts will be gone from now on
Like the other day someone was asking him if T6 can run 5 cylinders and he was saying how yes no problem at all they could sort that out etc
Its going to be a real shame if those sort of half technical / half sales, posts are banned by Tony / Mark / Karl / Jimbo / Harvey
And I really do mean a REAL shame, the BEST thing that PF has ever had to offer is so many experts prepared to give out info IMHO, if its left down to just stu and martin, who appear to be the only people paid up with much real techy knowledge, its going to be a pretty sparsely populated site in terms of expert input, as both them obviously have a lot on their plates away from this forum which are a lot more important, so wont possibly be able to step up their amount of posting enough to compensate for all the posts lost by banning all the others from mentioning anything that is in anyway related to a service or product they provide

for people like mike / martin / stu who sell loads of parts mail order as a large part of their business (well as ALL of their business in mikes case) im sure PF advertising is worth a fortune, but for someone like Tony or Mark, its not worth anywhere near what it costs im sure, so I really cant see either ever paying it.

and i explain the way the old fella does things and this i hope gives people the idea of what could be the best way to do something
since my ban i have learnt that i most deffinately cannot trade on here and will not the so called trading posts chip are technical advise just like what mark shead was giving before it was deleted which i disagree with along with nearly everyone else

That's not strictly true, there have been loads of threads on MAD YUM and Rod's progress which weren't binned even though Mark was commenting on them.

Chip - youve pretty much got it, but its all about traders doing things to excess.
SO if its the occasional post, then its not really an issue, but if a tuner is continuosly posting about the services he can offer, then its only fair they become a proper trader!

If all these tuners make nothing from the site and gain no custom meaning it's not worth them paying traders then why do they spend soooo much time on here, surely they would be busy elseware
