He asked to be deleted fromt the forum as i wouldnt let him have "NORRIS MOTORSPORT" in his signature unless he paid for the advertisement, the same as everyone else.

im not really fussed about all this as i dont sell anything and go through mike rainbird for 99% of things..

but rod does work for MAD.. it says it clear in one of the fast ford mags.. 'rod takes care of all the wiring' or something. so really his name should be changed or pay a traders fee..

 

no rod doesnt work for mark he supplies wiring looms to his customers so so shouldnt have his name changed

So I have been arguing for no reason (again ), all is good and if Andy wants his name it should be cool.

Anyhow on a brighter note I have worked out what could be done about Marco's 4 year trading fee evasion, just ask him to pay the 4 years fee's plus next years... Ł2k please sir!!

However, as someone who has been on the end of the user name bollox, you cant blame me for getting worked up. LOL

 

I DO sell thousands of slicks every year, and can safely say i dont do any business through this site , i use this site purely for information and technical advice for my OWN racecar only . I chose to do this not because of the traders fees, i can well afford those , its because there is NO business here for me and i firmly believe Marco takes nothing from me , however i do get a twinge every time i see the "Marco will sort you out" posts or replies that state what sizes are available , i know where he gets them and they ARE my competition but dont worry me through this site !! The BARA connection is a different matter tho , that does remove business from other paying traders , i also use him out in the "real world "for instance and perhaps couldn't get the same rates for my customers .
Marco and i have been pals for years and hs is one of the most helpful nice guys you will ever meet .

You believe what FF say thats funny. Was there on the day as I was most days at the time.
I have never actually worked for MAD, I last worked for a company (BAe in March 2007). Did put in hours for Mark from May-November 2007 in loo of Mark building my new engine etc. I do still make Marks Looms but again im only putting in hours not getting paid cash, building up money owed to finish this latest re-build, what happens when we are all square I have no idea.

Fact is you do work for mark or have done in some way shape and form and still continue to promote his business.
Being paid or not is irrelivant IMO.

I have no axe to grind with you or Mark but it does seem unfair to others that have been forced to change their name change !

Mark has been saying for years he is going to be an official trader but doesnt do it using more excuses than I ever did LOL

It was great in the first year when it started ad was aimed at proper enthusiasts but as years have gone by this site has become understandably more commercially driven.

Marco is a great guy and very helpful. If I was him I just wouldnt bother advertising anymore (which he doesnt) and carry on as you are

Why worry about others on some random internet forum - the rules are there only for the people to bend so it suits their own needs - there is NO consistency.

This is one site,there are loads where you dont have to pay for anything,Paul (NYRS Spares) told me ages ago it dont make any differance being a trader on here or not ,waste of money as he is established .As for why the traders are arsed to pay the fee is up to them ,but i cant see this site being the "end all" of someones lively hood.

As for the question on the first page ,, i dont see Marco AS A TRADER .
He is just well known anyhow ,for what he dose,, look at my mate jako he has a body shop ,people know that and he gets work ,but he aint a trader on here he has a good reputation. So if he uses the site is he a trader?????

This site must surely be self sufficient now it has been taken over anyhow ???

i haven't fooked martin with the gearboxes at all like i have said in previous post

i only do it for the people i know .. i dont do it for tom ,dick or harry

it's like my gt30 turbo i haven't got a clue what it is ,when poeple ask me i tell them your better off speaking to martin @reyland ,same goes for the tko gearboxes

the reason why i put them on to martin is because he can do the complete job supply fit turbo/or tko and does a proper job

i have put a bit of work martins way aswell if he is honest

with the bara stuff asked martin to get involed because if they took off back then i wouldn't not been able to cope with the damand (they did) so it was in the best interest that he could make a few quid and also try one of the gearboxes in one of his cars


what i am going to do if thats ok...... im going to give martin half of the traders fee when his next one is due that way he can sell the slicks on mybehalf

would that be fair or not ?

you may need Marco's slicks if you are going on track, yours have just doubled up in price.
