Interesting topic. First of all, i must point out that 90% of the questions raised on this topic can be answerd by a simple review of the site rules up there at the top of the page. Probably the most interesting quote from the rules to answer a lot of questions at once would be this:

As for "When does my year start?" Well surely, since your gold membership is for one year the answer is obviously "When you buy the gold membership?"

Many people are asking "How much are trade fees?" Again, just use the relevant links and you will be able to ask the correct people in the correct manner.

It really is a dissapointing drain of my time and recources when people refuse to help themselves by looking for something thats always been there. Ok, that brings me neatly to wether or not Pete has broken the rules.
Sadly, since he has mentioned stock levels and pricing, i would say that he has, sorry Pete. In Petes Defence, the rule about Ex Traders trading on PF was deleted by the "PF Hacker" as Pete says above, and we have had to run a temporary backup of teh ruels from before thgey were implemented, so technically a trader has some leeway, but i will close that gap again today just so that everyone is clear.

Moving on: I see we have now descended into arguing about Pete's username. If anyone can show me where Pete advertises his business as Rs Specialists then i will gladly as him to change his username as i do with all traders who stop trading. The Business cheque Pete paid with certainly didnt say Rs Specialists on it so by the letter of the rules he has done nothing wrong there.

Finally, If anyone wants to help moderate the place of bedrrom traders etc, feel free to stand up and be counted. It seems everyone as usual is happy to complain, but not happy to help. Since you all know who these bedroom traders are, why on earth arent you clicking the little red and white triangle on teh bottom left of every post and reporting it? Its not hard, takes under a minute of your time and directs the webteam straight to the offender. Help ius to help you.

and if i may add regarding my users name,as clearly stated its IS NOT my business name
my business is Ashfield Motorsport LTD,now anyone is welcome to see the name on my cheque book or check with companies house,if you feel the need,I have never used by business name on any web site other than in a signiture with my contact details
I do hope this clears up the matter,the thread will now be locked anyone who has any ideas on how to run the site please PM a mod and you ideas will be forwarded

11. Selling items as a trader.
Members either known to be, or considered by the webteam to be Traders must be registered as official passionford traders and have paid the current fee to enter any sale advertisements whatsoever on the forum or be registered with a business name.

In addition to this, because a Trade user will build up a level of trust and trade recognition within the community, he will no longer be allowed to trade on passionford or retain his trade name if he chooses to withdraw his trade status and site support. This is to stop unscrupulous traders registering for a few months and then trading for free on the back of the status he buildt up in that time.

PassionFords Banner traders are allowed one "sale related" topic in the general Discussion forum only at any one time as an extra perk for his increased financial input to the site.

Please Note: Traders found to be publically referring work to ex- PF traders will be asked to leave passionFord as a trader as it is unfair to other paying traders. The Bottom line, if you want to trade using PassionFord, you must pay the traders fee.
