having a read i don't think the site if for ford "enthusiasts" GENUINE enthusiasts in my eyes speak to people with the same interests, help them out when needed as much as they can, especially in the car world. without thinking about cost, especially when their giving out free advice from minds loaded with knowledge.
a "trader" in my eyes is somebody who comes on here soley to advertise, all their posts are in the for sale sections and they are jsut here to make profit, karl is obviously not just here to advertise, sell things and make profit as on countless occassions he has spent time to sit in here in his own spare time and help people out and share his knowledge. which if he was here to trade he could of jsut replied with something along the lines of "i know how to solve your problem, give us a shout NMS......." and quoted phone numbers, address, labour rates etc...
so all in all IMO i think its stupid that the sig has been removed considering what was in it.

I pointed out to the admin that MadRod who openly admits on here to
working for and promoting MAD, doesnt pay the traders fee yet is still
allowed to have that name.
I pointed this out to admin and asked if I could have SECSsimon but was
told I couldnt as this was against the rules.
(I didnt ask for Rods name to be changed)
Rod still has his name, I am not allowed....
A BIG applogy to Rod for using you as an example, its nothing personal.
Looks a bit like the MAD camp are llowed but no one else is?
Not a dig at rod/yum etc, but to be fair if they are allowed then everybody should also be allowed

Everyone ot there abouts puts your company logo in there sig or who uses you so its not as if you dont get any exsposer. The rule's have been put in place to protect paying traders and thats all there is to it .

I continue to offer advice and help as it is not the pf users fault that paying active traders will not allow any other business to post on this site using their business name.

If the non paying non trading pf business users had kicked off and screamed like the paying trading traders did would it have made any difference.Would Pf be better or worse for the users. If karl myself and the other techies went on strike so to speak and just left the money makers to advise do you think their advice to pf users would be biased.I feel an Abba classic coming on MONEY MONEY MONEY
