hi ya im jay, im using my brothers loge in for the moment! as im a VX220 owner as it goes im at the point where i want a small payment a month an also insurance, i putting the money into my buisness....

Anyway! im looking at the puma racing as its know for the way it handles and i realy need/want that out of my car as the VX drives so well i dont want to get a car that bores me i used to own a S2 escort RS turbo was great, but want somthing a bit newer an i do realy like the look of the puma Racng

i wouldnt mind a P/X with my VX220 if anyone is interested? or a cash private sale?? any info on the car would be great and hope you all dont mind me posting my topic here

Ay up m8....the Puma racing is a totaly different car to ur VX....you'll find the Puma a hell of alot slower in straights and on the corners, the VX was built just as a toy really. On the other hand you'll find the build quality on the Puma in a totaly different league to the VX (Im a Puma owner and also a technitian at a Vauxhall VXR approved dealership...so can compare the 2 car fairly well in my opinion)...with panels that dont fall away when you try and get out or bits dropping off each time you use it, lol altho Pumas do suffer 1 problem same as the VX...light units misting up Also the racing Puma is rarer than the standard VX220 (VXR not included as they only made 65) and as such you can hold your head high in the knowledge that your wide winged Puma is not a commoner

hi mate, yeah i know what you meen about how different the puma would be as iv never driven anything like the VX before its awsome in the corners and is a fast car in a straight line too the grip is unreal but as it goes an the timeing wasnt great wjen i got the vx as i didnt think ahead ad now i want to use some of my money thats in the vx! so i was looking around at all different cars that catch my eye and i still want somthing special its prob going to be one of the 3

-Fiesta turbo
-Escort s2 Turbo
-Racing Puma

i just dont know.

p.s as you work in the trade at vauxhall would you be so kind and ask around if anyone want to buy a N/A 2001 Europa Blue mint* with only 8,500miles!! its like new and has black leather and its got the VSE exhaust aswell, thanks for you reply mate....

Think your best bet would be on an owners forum....2001 is out of warranty so a main dealership will have your pants down if you accept a offer off them.....money grabbing gits lol

Out of the three i'd go for the Puma....ive also got a S2 turbo and tbh it aint much nowadays and ppl still look upon it as a boyracer xr3i

yeah i wouldnt sell it back to the dealer no way! i got it from perrys of canterbury so it has got a years warranty so thats good for the buyer but still can think what i want! iv had a S2 turbo and miss that so much but the puma does look nice but also runs out of puff quit quickly and the turbo is just so much more powerfull (ie: i would buy a owners S2 turbo with lots done already -2.1 zvh or 1.9 or even just a lighty modded 1.6 stage 2 with cam ect:
