Default turbo a st220

does anyone know if you can turbo a 220.
heard the engine out of the noble m400 is the same out of the 220 but with twin turbos.
just wondering if thats true and what would be the chances of actually getting it done.
heard a supercharger available for maybe £3000 USA stuff but was looking for serious power from the UK

cheers

Don't know about the Noble being the ford V6 block but anything is possible and quite probable

I would imagine someone has already turbo'd the ST, the older V6's have been done loads of times and there's not much difference

Lower the compression, sort yourselves out some turbos and manifolds, a decent ECU and away ya go

If only it was that easy

the twin turbo noble engine is the older 2.5V6 duratec ford engine, not the later 3.0V6 which is quite different.

in USA a few people have turboed and supercharged the 3.0 V6 duratec, check out www.contour.org

on MEG, theres a guy selling 2 Noble M12 engines with everything needed to get them running.

he said the bulkhead needs slight modding to make it fit. it was about 4-5k for the engine i think, but with 350bhp, a bargain i think.

i cant get on the site but its www.fordmondeo.org.

and theres a post on there with a guy putting an ST24 engine in a series 2 escort turbo shell, he's got twin turbo's for it, might be worth contacting him and asking what he's done
