RS2000 Engine tuning
Due to me starting to rebuild my cossie I've had to start driving round in the missus' RS2000 as she has decided she wants a family car!
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on effective ways to tune this car without spending a fortune as its just too slow, especially for a car that handles so well.
As most of my funds are being spent on the cos i don't exactly want to break the bank just pep it up a bit.
the car is already fitted withan induction kit and stailness exhaust.
Please help!!

Is this a mk5/mk6 rs 2000? if it is id say superchip decat exhaust system and a k&n panel filter in the standard air box.sud give u about 160-165bhp thn.thats all u can do on the cheap.very arsey engines to tune.unless u spend big money on t/bs.

theirs no set power figures for mods on this motor cos everyone i know who has one, also has a totally different set of power figures..they respond very diferently.
theirs also nothing cheap you can do as it cost afair bit in head work to release the ppotential....a set of cams and headwork with a decent chip will gove a relibale 170bhp which i have now...thats your limit more or less before it gets expensive..
nothing short of throttle bodies are required for 200bhp..so you may just have to live with it im afraid matey.
