Need to know as i'm looking at buying one, but don't really like the look of them and don't want the hastle of filling in holes, i'd rather just wait for another car to come along which doesn't have them.
Thanks guys, James

So why is it that the rubbish models last so much better than the performance ones?
My eclipse wasnt even undersealed and is still minty fresh under there yet virtually every 'local' 3i I see has rot creeping all over it. The mere mention of the words 'sunroof' and 'battery tray' brings owners out in a cold sweat.

Grey Mk4 Early XR3I
so glad tos ee this topic back open!!
and in regards to why the less performance models seem to last longer its because old people have them sat in a garage for 15 odd years looooool!!
we currently have a bonus sleeper in the build process which is slightly worse for wear but should be good fun

tell me about it..
it was abit of a shoddy conversion, i wouldnt say it was very bad conversion at all to be honest, but for the money i spent it should have been alot better...

alloy wheel decisions
hi all, just after your opinions. since i got my mk4 i have always wanted white alloys on it. so which do i buy? i would like to keep to genuine ford alloys but i love 5 spoke mo's. but quite handly i have a set of s2 and gti alloys. what road do you think i shoul go down? money is also a big factor which is why im unsure about the mo's at £700.
cheers stu
