Hi all, could anyone send me a link for removal of the bus driver steering wheel or possibly give me some advice? Thanks a lot

 

Its easy bud, just prize off the horn push carefully with a plain screwdriver, then centre the wheels and undo the nut that holds it on (22mm or 24mm from memory) then make sure steering lock is off, and give it a thump from the back and should come free.

The key is to make sure steering lock is off lol, made that mistake when I was young!

Has anyone attempted to put Capri laser wheels on a bonus? I have no idea if the offset would be okay or not, I haven't seen any with a set on so I can only assume it isn't.. or I haven't looked hard enough

60mm should look like these i think but i just cut mine and change the shocks to xr3i ones as the satndard ones bottom out and the tyres if i remember are 175 55 13 bro

Haha, few updates:

1,8 zetec with TD04-13C turbo and 0,7bar boost, MS1 V2.2, RE85 ethanol and 370cc S14 injectors was too much to original BC gearbox from 1,6 mk4: 610km and gearbox exploded.

I'm guessing that there is around 210-230bhp and over 300nm torque, so which gearbox should last more than 600km that stress? Should be cheap and easy to get and easy to assembly.



Before my gearbox broke down, we had very nice time while driving around with pretty fast Scorpio:
