Ok so I thought it would be quite straight forward to adjust the fan belt on my 1999 Escort diesel van but no..... Can someone please tell me how to do it? There is a little torx bolt that I think you might have to tighten to adjust a pulley but not sure.. Sorry for being a mupper but easy instructions will be greatly appreciated....

if im right fella loosen the bolt that holds the pulley on and then thier should be a 10mm bolt under the pulley near the bottom off the sump this is the actuall tensioner you turn this clockwise (i think) and then this should tighten the belt then you tighten the bolt that holds the pulley on when you have got the desired tension on the belt
