I have a problem with my twincam...when the weeather is `normal` conditions the car idles fine ie 850rpm. But when the weather is warm ie over about 18`c the car will idle at about 1500 rpm. When the weather is cold and wet the car really struggles to idle, it will vary between 500 and 2000 rpm and get worse until it eventually stalls. It will start again straight away no problem and rev straight to 2000 rpm, but then slowly fall down to between 500 rpm then upto 2000 rpm until it stalls again. Its definataly weather conditions that cause this, just dont know what its affecting?! Any ideas anybody?

I changed the idle air valve, the one on the air filter trunk at the front of the engine bay and that didnt make a difference. Im not sure if the throttle position sensor is playing up?
Where abouts is the coolant temp sensor located? How much would this affect the idle speed?
