Default Ford 6000 cd player upgrade (wiring )

Ive bought a 6000 for cd player for my transit (sick of tapes) has anybody got a wiring diagram or can help me with the swop, theres seems to be 2 extra wiring blocks that should slot in the back, ive traced along the transit loom and found some other wires but the connetors are not the same

you still have tapes?

no idea what the bottom plug does but suspect it could be for a mutli changer or poss steering wheel control
have you tried the obvious thing of plugging it in and seeing if it works yet mate

I have exactly the same 2 radios as the picture, replacing the 4000 with a 6000. However if you look at the blue socket the centre socket is larger than the black and will not fit into the new radio, the 2 outer plugs seem fine. There are only 4 wires going to this , so assume all the other pins are surplus how can I get around this.

Thanks

Am I not able to just replace the centre cable ?

I have just plugged it all in and it seems to work without the centre cable, So what does the centre cable do ?

If it all works then leave it alone lol

There's another cable for a CD multi changer controller and there's another one for linking to the speed sensor to raise and lower the volume as you speed up SBD slow down

depends on if you have the correct stuff hooked up or not

those connectors should mean there's no amp to deal with

what else would I need to have hooked up? I had the 4000 tape player and sound would come through. Now put the 6000 CD player in and no sound
