As topic, a stand alone CD/Radio made by Ford that fits into a single din sized slot?

I'm aware of this one obviously, but it requires the extra Radio/Casette unit to work and obviously just have the one hole [ ] :



Any model number would be much appreciated, if indeed they did one

Pretty sure that was the one with 2 din sized units?

I had an old Ghia mondeo estate come in part chop and that has a weird extra din sized controlled multichanger. That's pretty cool... will try and get a photo... but STILL no single CD....

I've looked into this before and they have done 2 single din CD players, the first is the FX3000 which was a stop gap unit fitted to early Scorpios, before the 1.5 din systems replaced them, they crop up on Ebay now and again. The second is the single din cd player as fitted (still fitted?) to Ford Ranger Thunders, I've got both of these if you need any pics.

they have them on their website, but are currently out of stock, but you can check back or email them when they are likely to get stock again.

EDIT: i have just realised it is just the face for it, not the head unit
