Jealous

Had plans to get my bike back on the road this year, does not look good at the moment

Tried a gel pad a couple of years ago when going around Europe and it was crap did not work at all, no matter what you do a sore ass is inevitable

i bought a second h seat to save fukin mine up i bought this gel pad its 20mm thick and quite a squidgy its nearly 12 inches square ive cut the seat out for it to fit in to so hopefully it want be as crap as some of the other non medical pads but by the time i paid for the seat & pad and leather cover it would of been cheaper to send it away to this bike seat place in essex they send them back within three days what sort of bike you got

Hello, mine is a Honda blackbird with fuel injection.
A couple of years ago a friend bought a pad (not a cheap one) as we were doing 2000 miles in 10 days, he has a 1250 Bandit and after a few days gave up on it, I then tried and found it to be useless. My son who rides his BMW every day and does some 30,000 miles a year also found after a week his ass was sore. A large group of us would go around Europe every year camping but its sort of died with people going there own way, some are now doing extreme off roading which is not my cup of tea, probably one of the best trips was to Switzerland to ride the passes.
