What are you riding?
As the thread says, I'll go first:
ZZR 600 E1, resprayed Audi met grey (cheapest grey I liked), Viper end cans stainless link pipes and manifold, full Nonfango panniers and top box, fender extender, dodgy screen, Avon storm ST tyres, gel battery, Goodridge pipes, for now thats it, built for comfy commute, two up riding and touring.

Now then chaps, hope this isn't too off topic. How do you go about getting a bike licence?
Is it a long and complicated expensive process?
If you already drive a car, how long would you say it take your test etc and to get a full licence.
For example would it be possible if i start now to get one for the summer?
Nice bikes by the way!

Here's my Ducati 748, which is currently for sale
Fantastic bike
Apply for and pass a motorcycle theory test.
Then pass CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) which takes 1 day.
Lessons on a proper bike and finally a motorcycle test.
Not sure on cost now but iirc paid about 400 quid about 6 years ago.

most people just do a crash course which if you pass your cbt you could be riding within a week.
Costs can be anywhere from £450 upwards.
Some nice looking bikes on here guys will need to get some pics of my daytona 650 up at the weekend

I sold this just before Christmas,
To make room for this,
& when I'm not riding that ^ I like to tinker with this,
Have also just bought another FZ750 (1988) with no mod's what so ever but not got any pictures yet.

well just to throw something different into the mix, i just got this, a 1983 yamaha xv750 special, V-twin, rather bloody loud pipes on it, only 9,300 miles from new, it was dropped at low speed last year, so i got the spares to fix it n i'll be riding this soon once it tidied up.
