Anyone been to the Isle Of Man TT? Im going this year. Anyone recommend places to visit/go whilst im out there. Also is it worth buying a grandstand ticket? Or are there good places to stand by the side of the road?

Firstly Mike, I'm jealous as fook.!!!!
Depending how you're getting there, I'm sure you'll be adequately filled in on best viewing points on the way across on the ferry as most people you bump into will have been before.
Personally, if I was lukcy enough ever to go, I wouldn't buy a grandstand ticket as feel it would limit the opportunity to walk around, change view points etc.
Hope you enjoy, I'll have to wait for the potted highlights on tv.

I`m hopefully gonna be going again this year....
Don`t bother with a grandstand ticket, besides a little bit of pitstop action there`s not a lot to see...... loads of mega places to watch trackside, but you will struggle a little to get around as much in the car as you would on a bike.....
You gotta watch at Bray Hill...... near 200 mph passes is awesome
Cronkyvoddy is another good one, creg ne baa, and the bottom of Brandish is quick too....
If i`m going i`ll PM you and i`ll meet up with you and show you a few of the shortcuts up the mountain

bray hill was always my favourite,200mph and the bike suspension bottoming out then 30 metres later trying to keep the front wheel on the ground
union mills ,cronkyvody, anywhere on the mountain really.
its a real expierience everyone should see as the speed of the bikes is just unbelievable, the ground would shake when they go by.
enjoy it mike
cheers james

Gutted
Had to cancel this year due to loss of earnings over winter with back trouble.
Had tickets booked from our return last year and a nice little cottage sorted
It has changed over the years and mellowed slightly (not the racing, obviously) IMO but still a top time and not to be missed
Two up over the mountain at 165mph is hard to replicate in this country, let alone being legal
