Check out my finished bike resto!
It's about time i put pics up here really!
Basically i fell off about 2 years ago and did small damage. It was only a drop from 20mph. Mushroom saved the main fairing but the nose, headlight, screen, fairing bracket got broken and cant rem anything else.
I was getting married that July so didnt do much with the bike and it kinda stayed like that until a few weeks back!
However in that time i bought:
headlight
fairing bracket
mushrooms
a new set of race rep fairings from ebay
new chain
sprocket set, 2 teeth up on rear
goodridge braided lines
speedo healer
new double bubble.
filter and plugs
I also had the tank and hump painted white. Then had my can cut down which looks SOOOOOOO much better!
All back together now and got it MOT'd couple weeks ago. I've spent the last week waiting for a new battery which they fucked up the order of and i got the wrong one first
Still to put the new chain on and then get the carbon rear hugger back on. The chain adjustment was too far in and with bigger sprocket the hugger rubbed.
I also need suzuki badges for the tank and a tank protector just to finish off.
I think it looks not bad anyway...
Before...
Now the MOTO GP bike its a rep of....
Now the bike...
And one of the dog as he was watching
Now just need to get some miles done. Lucky if i've done 500 in 2 years!

Not that it didnt look good before, but thats a massive improvement in my opinion! Looks 'fresher' and newer too. Excellent choice! That will certainly stand out from the rest.
Thinking of doing mine in lucky stike colours this winter actually.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
looks great but IMO it needs the bottom of the tank doing blue to follow the stripe through from the fairing to the seat unit like the GP bike has. At the moment it looks like the tank isn't quite finished and I know you will be getting the 'S' sticker but not sure it will be enough.
defo looks better than before though.

It's a bit down to cost mate. I dont want to spend ridiculous amount on an old bike. plan was just to get it going again and do some miles this year. Still need the suzuki s badges and a tank pad. might eventually repaint the tank and still fancy the rear wheel done like the gp bike.
Cheers mate
