i always use b.d.k race engineering mate 01508 481713 price is just over £100 for a replate only if i remember rightly and they have a website, hope that helps
Is there a reason why they just cant be bored and a oversized piston kit fitted ie do they really need to be plated again? Reason I ask is because I know of a old but mint KR1S sat in need of bores being sorted...
years ago it used to be dear to repair as they would also have to weld the damage under the coating if it was bad
i remember years ago me mate got his son a cr 80 and that needed the bore doing and he got someone to put a liner in so no more nicosil i think
never let him down by the way
as for the kr1s one of my favourits of yesteryear nice quick bike
if its cheap enough buy it

agree about the kr1s mate weve had 2 of them and they are a good laugh but tank slap alot.i dont think you can do anything other than replate cylinders, but should be able to get full top end done for£300 thats replate, pistons etc
I may nag him to sell it then. I used to own a 350lc ypvs, and have a little yerning for a two stroke in my life again
This kr1s is in black and green colours, looks completly bog standard.
