i rate that bike as one of the best bikes i have ever ridden, i hired one out for an hour and after two miles i did 171mph and felt totally at home on it.
i think the understated look is still a nice look and i would definately have one, the only prob i had with it was i was riding it so hard that the front disc's warped and caused huge juddering, so i quickly took it back to the shop and said it was not for my liking, although it was excellent.
better to ride on the road than r6 and gsxr but on track the r6 is king.

Just picked one of these up myself, identical but an 05 plate
Very impressive for a 600. I thought I may have been a bit dissapointed after owning a few litre bikes (inc zx10r) previously but it's potent for a 600.
I actually started looking for an rs250 for some cheap fun and track day work, then things snowballed (as they do) and ended up with the 6r. Lucky I stopped there as I was starting to hanker after a K5 gsxr 1k in black
