bike jeans...and other non leathers...SORTED
Whats all the other non leather protective clothing like?
Basically ive got the bike bug back again and might get another. Now, i sold mine last year through lack of use. I didnt have 'much' spare time to use it but i did have some time, but it was imo a right pain in the arse getting leathered up. If i went to work on the bike, i only had my work jeans on and leather jacket with work boots...i was so much more comfortable.....but obviously i KNOW leathers are the best protection but my question is how much better than the other options?. I dont wanna get bored of the bike again if i get another

tis a pain, but it will save your life lol...
well, maybe keep the limbs attached lol
i have belstaff all weather gear, fabric stuff not leathers as they aint waterproof and i ride all weather (when the cunting works anyhow...)
only thing is, when it REALLY pisses down, you get wet balls, so i wear waterproofs over the top of em lol
jacket is fine tho

I think they'll be "ok" but obviously leather is what you need. If you're weren't giving it total beans then i guess these would be ok. BUT if you fall off its going to hurt whatever
I spend too much time with normal jeans on anyways so i'd be as well having these instead

i take some clothes into work at the begining of the week and leave them there until the end, saves carrying a bag in everyday. infact i need the car at the end of the week to take them all home Leathers everytime for me.

I wear the draggin jeans both their combat ones and their jeans.
I find them extremely comfortable. But there again i hate wearing leathers....a leather jacket is ok but not bottoms.
If you were *touches wood* involved in an accident then the draggin jeans will stop the tarmac from eating up you skin due to the Kevlar being stitched in all the correct hot spots.
However leathers are more inclined to cushion you better and protect your bones a bit better.
So, if it is bones you want to protect then you simply can't beat leathers, if it is comfort u want with the benefit of knowing that you won't require skin grafts when u fall off then it is draggin jeans

I kitted myself out yesterday. I bought some kevlar jeans from J and S. Also bought some knee armour pads, some new boots, and an Alpinestars jacket (not leather). Not been out on new bike yet as i cant tax it till docs come, but i felt comfier in the jeans and jacket...
Also got some kangaroo leather frank thomas gloves....much comfier than my old alpinestars...
