Default Moto GP

Who watched it then?

Another interesting race! Very funny Rossi overtaking Gibernau on the last corner Brings back memories of 2 and 3 seasons ago when Rossi constantly took the piss out of the twat

Did anyone see the replay of Melandri coming round the last corner but from the camera view looking at front of the bike?
He had the rear lit and sideways with right hand on bars and left hand in the air If anyone can find that pic then post it up!

Sorry but thats cobblers!

Sete was the ONLY rider for those 2-3 years to take the fight to Rossi. AND crucially beat him head to head a few times. and NOT on a Works bike.

People underestimate how good he was then. Sure its drained him and he's now a bit hot n cold. But his still in the top 5 on that grid. Like most decent riders hes also damn good in the Wet, something Loris for example simply isnt.

Rossi always manages to pull a move at the last moment. That guy is incredable!

i was watching it with a few mates and had a bet that rossi would'nt catch sete before the finish...well im eating my words as the last corner move was just typical of rossi!Good on(demon on the brakes) melandri though as he ran a good race and especially nice showboating through the last corner
My money is on rossi for the championship ,although i'd much rather see caparossi do it but thats just not gonna happen.

well,im sorry for gib and as you pointed out rich, gib has had his day, while rossi still is and always has,

gibs spurted back then cause all things blended for him ,his bike, style and team,

where as rossi constantly changes to what is required to win,a true champ and no mistake,

bettered only now by the late great mike hailwood, rossi is phenominal,

he adapts to his machines ,rectifies his needs through his team, and enjoys the fight so much,he can play with his rivals,he always rides with 10% in reserve ,make no mistake, this guy kicks arse,

others will come ,and others will go,but for now ,and for a long time to come ,rossi IS the man.

ive followed him from his youthfull days ,racing with mad max in 125s,then alongside luca cadalora in 250s,this guy will be remembered as one of the all time greats,

so soak it in.

BS

Did he win the championship? No

Watching rossi pass him on the last lap so many times was fantastic

Rossi never raced with Max in 125 nor in 250. And Max never raced in 125 world championship.
