Default armoured jeans - any experience/advice

anyone got any experience with armoured jeans? looking at http://www.hoodjeans.co.uk/ with kevlar reinforcing and knox protectors.

my mate has a pair from www.dragginjeans.net that he got on ebay. They are pretty cool and i fancy a pair myself! They are made in oz though and not many outlets sell them and im not willing to spend £80-90 and find they dont fit.

I’m going to get a set off these after my recent off!!

I wear a one piece suit for rides out but if I’m nipping to the shop there is no way I’m putting all that on to go through town at 30mph!! I reckon a pair of these and a lightweight jacket is a perfect compromise.

They aint that good, they affect your confidence on the bike because you know its going to be more painful than usual if you come off, even with armour in them

i notice that if i'm riding in normal jeans to work, i use a LOT less lean angle then when wearing proper trousers

A few people recommend hood jeans over on VD. Not sure how many have crashed in them though.

Going to get a pair myself next year.....after I've lost some weight

just got myself a pair of hood ND4 with knox hip and knee armour for £90 delivered.

haven't tried them yet, it's raining today

RST do a 2 piece leather suit for £200 - cant go wrong for that price
