Default 1/18 Scale Custom Mini

I'll be honest with you guys. I've been quite inspired by all your custom 1/18th and so for christmas this year I decided to give it a go myself.

I've started with a Burago 1/18th kit, diecast model which has some nice areas of detail and a couple of areas that could be improved ... I've actually been given a kit for me too (which will be going the same colours as my Bini Cooper S). I intend to fully detail my own version with a few extra touches.

Anyhoo, this is my cousins motor:

Lambo painted Cooper powered toy.

I began by lopping off the roof and then find the new level for the rear panel.

deseaming and then stripping and sanding the shell.

And applied about five coats of Focus ST orange Pearl.

And how it came out.

So, I guess i just wanted to say... thanks for the inspiration!

Cheers guys, yep I gave it to my cousin and his Mrs. For Christmas. They opened it over skype and were pretty speechless! They were very happy with it though!
