The chrome wheels are jada 1/24 ones and jsut use the orignal axle's so they arnt glued on. The wheelson the blue one are from a maisto 350z and are glued on but still rotate if your careful.

As the transit's are plastic, just sand them down and paint them. I always sand down quite a bit around the doors as thats where I find the doors rub on most models.

Yeah, I left the motors in aswell.

Remember, their plastic not metal, so DONT use nitromors paint stripper on it.

Yeah it does.

Ive just used acetone free nail varnish remover on a plastic Focus ST, same powco brand as the Transit's. Was a bugger to get off as it was previously painted, but that didnt damage the plastic.

You most likely dont need to strip off the paint if you are painting the whole van, just sand it down.

Just 1/18th stuff. This is the first plastic one I've done. Stopped work on it when I was trying to cast up some sport van wheels.

I've just got a VW Touran in 1/18th, not easy to get hold of in the V1 version. Going to do a repaint to match my full size

Going black with some 18" VAG option alloys. When I decide on some for the road car.
There not cheap, £59. They pop up on eBay.com. My was from France. V2's are easier to find and there are some of the new V3's too.
