i am thinking about makeing some custom model cars but dont know what would be a good one to start with and how to make it. i am thinking of doing an aa mk2 escort van

 

what do you want ideas?

erm. make a escort mk3 pickup?

 

i seen them on here they look alright but i havnt got a steady hand cos i god adhd and im only 14 so i nead a quite easy one to do mate but great ideia

 

sound silly and its abit different, but if you haven't got the modelers touch have you tried pedal bikes?
when i was 14/15/16 i was well into BMX and DJ bikes. sanding them down, re-spraying the frames, different seats, bars, rims, pedals etc. what first started me into the modifying world lol i loved it.

 

i kind of already do it. i enjoy it cos i like doing distructive and constructive stuff

 

doing a van is no easy feat

funnily enough that was exactly the one i thought of when i wrote that. that is a brilliant model one of my favorite

 

did you start off with rs1600

 

its not my model mate, its the bigmacmoomin's lol. as i recall it was a model of a mk3 ghia, that he cut up then put all the trim off an rs1600 on it.

It was an RS1600i orignally as it has the rear towing eye. All those parts were transfered to make a red RS1600i cabrio. This is what I did with the RS1600i shell.
