Finished: Impreza Blobeye for babs.
Bonjourno.
Dave (FORD RS MAD) basically wanted me to build a replica of his real car;
from his white 1:18 one;
Its a pretty easy one but told him i'd keep him updated so mayaswell make a thread.
So it arrives yesterday morning like above, by lunch time it was like this;
then the nitromors did its thing
sanded all the plastics down and glued them back onto the bare metal
then today, primed
It felt norty stripping a nice shiney new model but im making good progress and I reckon it'll be worth it
will update later tonight, just masking up the engine bay and floorpan for some flat black at the moment

floorpan and engine bay stripped;
primed, silver base and clear coat;
masked up and flat blacked bits;
back together;
managed to get the wheels off without breaking everything too so when i get the prodrive ones they should still roll & steer as standard

ill let the pictures do the talking, but just wanna say thanks to MM for getting the wheels to me so quick
