Keith cowies skyline is going to be the one to watch, although there are lots of cars/tuners who seem to be taking it more seriously this year investing a lot of money in there cars. Just from my town alone there is a proven 10.8 sec supra going and a 675BHP evo. I Think we are going to see numerous 10 second quaters and probably a couple of 9's

At bruntingthorpe we were using the circuit the straight is only
3/4 mile long we were coming onto the straight in 3rd gear at about 30 / 40 mph and taking it to 9000 revs in every gear apart from 6th.
The most we seen in 6th gear was 8500 revs,Rod worked that out to be about 210 mph in the 1/2 mile because we needed the last 1/4 mile to stop the car now that it has the small R32 brakes back on,the car was so stable at that speed that Mark did not feel the need to put on his crash helmet that he took with him to be honest we did not expect the car to pull that speeds down that short straight.

Can't wait either, should be really really good this year. This is the third TOTB event in a row for me!!!! I think the RST boys are gonna have a battle on taking FWD honours, but still hope they can do it!! Shame about the drop outs on both sides though, would have been good to see Tim's ERST run and Martin's Reyland Escort against the Norris Evo, that would have been something else!! Always next year though its gonna be cool though!!!!
